MSM – Methyl Sulphonyl Methane – is an active organic form of sulphur. Sulphur is an important mineral, and represents approximately 1 % of the body weight. MSM is found in food, but is unstable and is released into the air during preparation and cooking. It is therefore best obtained from raw foodstuffs. A supplement is necessary for most people.
